It has been a while but I am back to look at the Melo to New York deal and the rest of the goings on in the NBA. I will give you my predictions for the rest of the season and the postseason.
This Melo trade is so overrated and the only reason it is so hyped is because it involves the Knicks. This trade doesn't not change the Knicks destiny as they still are not one of the four best teams in the east (Celtics, Heat, Bulls, Magic) so they will still be a 1st round casulty. Can someone tell me how many NBA finals have Dantoni, Melo, or Amare been in combined ZERO. Dantoni's run and gun system can't win a title. Also, with the looming CBA troubles and the expectation of a hard cap being implemented the likelihood of a third superstar (CP3, Deron Williams, Dwight Howard) is financially unfeasible.
