Summers Over, School starts tomorrow (really wednesday)

After a fun, relaxing, unforgettable summer I am going back to school tomorrow and classes start on wednesday. This summer was so great because of my old friends, the new ones I made this summer, All the kids I met and watched after while working at Camp Milldale this summer (mainly my bunk 4D) and I would like to thank all of them for making this summer so special and amazing. The group of people most responsible for making this summer so great is my family (my mom, my dad, my bubby, my brothers, my uncle, and the rest of my family members) they are the greatest family anyone can have and I am very thankful for everything they do for me, I will miss them so much while at school.
That being said I am looking forward to my junior year of college and seeing all my towson friends again for what should be another tremendous school year both academically and socially. However while I am excited I am still nervous because this year I am Hillel vice president and will need to carefully and smartly balance the duties that go along with that role, my academics, my fraternity, and everything else that goes into being a college kid. Also this year is going to be critical when it comes to determining my future when it comes to my career choice as I will be searching for internships to do next summer or at another point in the not to distant future.
There are a few goals that I hope to accomplish this semester and year in a variety of areas (academic, social, career). First of all, I want to maintain my high GPA by excelling academically in courses that interest me. Also, I hope to use my position as Vice President to make Hillel as strong and united as it has ever been. Similarly, I want to help my franternity (AEPI) grow and reach new levels of success. Furthermore, I want to strengthen the friendships I currently have while forming new ones throughout the year. Another goal of mine is to gain a better grasp of the options that my major presents me in terms of careers especially in the area of youth sports and recreation, which is where I want to work. One more goal of mine is to find an internship that allows me to use and improve my skills while giving me experience in the sports industry hopefully in the area of youth sports and recreation. Lastly I want to make myself and my family proud each and everyday through my actions while becoming a better person each and everyday.
